Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association introduces new communications strategist

to amplify its voice on baby product quality and safety

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ – April 18, 2017 The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), the top resource on quality and safety for products intended for babies and children, announces the appointment of Kelly Voelker as the association’s new Director of Public Relations.

“Kelly is going to be a great resource for the JPMA team,” said JPMA Executive Director Kelly Mariotti, JD, CPA, CAE. “Her experience will enable us to maintain our niche in regulatory and crisis communications while expanding our efforts to include more proactive, positive messaging and strengthen our overall voice representing the industry.”

With more than a decade of public relations and crisis communications experience, Voelker and her team will support JPMA in preparing for issues, creating strategic messaging and communicating proactive business priorities to internal and external audiences. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, with experience in the juvenile products industry and has handled complex public affairs, recalls and crisis and issues management.

“Now is a great time to join the JPMA team, especially as it prepares for its inaugural JPMA Baby Show in Anaheim, CA,” said Voelker. “The organization has incredible potential to continue to advance the mission of the industry and help keep children safe. It’s exciting to be a part of this movement, and I’m confident my mix of communications skills and background in juvenile products will bring a great deal of value to the organization and its members.”
