The JPMA Annual Industry Study

Juvenile Products Manufacturers are constantly looking for market data insights for:

  • Presentations to national retailers
  • Competition, line extension and acquisition analysis
  • Capital raising and expanding lines of credit
  • Juvenile industry trends and business issues

Because of this, JPMA offers a suite of research as part of the Annual Industry Study which is free for JPMA members who participate.

The study consists of the following reports:

Part 1Manufacturer Data SummaryShipment and Sales Data from 2015 & 2016 - An aggregate of 2015/2016 US Shipment and Sales data broken-out by individual product category, percent sales by classes of trade, mass merchandiser, and channel presence.

Part 2Industry Trends & Business Issues - A summary of business issues and trends that impact the juvenile products industry.

Part 3Secondary Research Related to the JP Industry - Census data and other secondary research relevant to the juvenile products industry.

Current JPMA members in good standing during the study collection periods will be asked to participate in Parts 1 & 2 of the study over the course of this year. Members have the opportunity to participate in each part of the study independently from the other, however will only receive a copy of the report(s) that they specifically participate in. In other words:

  • Participate in Part 1, you will receive the final Shipment and Sales Data report
  • Participate in Part 2, you will receive the final Industry Trends & Business Issues report
  • Participate in both, you will receive the final reports Part 1 and Part 2

All members of the association receive access to Part 3, the Secondary Research Related to the JP Industry.
