For Baby Safety Month, JPMA is sponsoring a Twitter party that will be hosted by the Safety Mom on September 15 at 1 pm (EST). A Twitter party is a live chat using a specified hashtag(#) to connect participants to the conversation. JPMA's Twitter party will use #BabySafetyMonth to connect participants around the topic of baby safety. Participants will also be eligible to win prizes such as gift cards to Babies R’ Us.
Want to join the Twitter party? Follow #BabySafetyMonth and include that hashtag(#) in your reply tweets so that Twitter joins the conversation together.
The Twitter party works much like a Twitter chat. The host will ask a question like this:
Q1: What is your biggest safety concern for baby? #BabySafetyMonth
Participants reply like this:
A1: I am not sure what type of car seat my child needs! #BabySafetyMonth
Twitter party conversations can move quickly. An easy way to keep up is to use websites such as twubs.com or tweetchat.com that help follow a specific hashtag stream. You can also use services such as Hootsuite and Buffer to create a stream and pre-set messages using the hashtag.

During the month of September JPMA will also be giving away weekly prize bundles. Each week participants will share the contest on social platforms with #BabySafetyMonth. Use the hashtag to promote safety messages and join the conversation with your consumers.
JPMA would like to thank our prize bundle giveaway participants:
