Jacobson has a strong PR and marketing background having worked as Senior Vice President for 10 years at the global PR firm Weber Shandwick and, in that capacity worked with major corporations and smaller companies to launch or rebrand consumer products. “I'm thrilled and honored to be taking on this role. For me it's really coming full circle to take the helm of the organization that was pivotal in helping me get through the darkest days of my life when my angel Connor died of SIDS. My goal is to strengthen First Candles’ position as the leader in the area of SIDS/SUID, Stillbirth and Miscarriage through research, education and support of bereaved families. I look forward to working closely with like-minded organizations and all companies who have a commitment to helping infants survive and thrive.”
