Why Does JPMA Have a Washington, DC Office?
JPMA opened a Washington, DC office in 2012 to establish a consistent presence for collaboration with government agencies and lawmakers in support of the juvenile products industry. Focusing on policy-making, regulatory and legislative matters, as well as litigation, JPMA’s strategic positions amplify the voice of the juvenile industry and its current and future business needs.
In collaboration with elected officials and leaders in Washington, DC and throughout the country, JPMA works to advance sound public policy that supports the interests of juvenile products manufacturers throughout North America, together ensuring the safest products in the world remain available to parents and caregivers.
Through our work with consumer groups, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and various non-governmental organizations (NGOs), our association continues to advance safety standards and educate the public about the safe use of baby products.
JPMA members utilize the Washington, DC office as a resource for information about government regulations, process and procedures.
