SUMMIT PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT: Intellectual Property: Administrative Perspective presented by Danny Marti, Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, Office of Intellectual Property Enforcement
Toys, electronics, and designer handbags are some of the most counterfeited products in the marketplace. While juvenile products are not ranked high among counterfeited goods, the ever expanding global economy may put juvenile products at risk for counterfeiting and intellectual property infringement and damage. The White House has acknowledged that risk and is working to protect American intellectual property that powers our economy.
Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, Danny Marti, will introduce us to the Office of Intellectual Property Enforcement, part of the Executive Office of the Office of Management and Budget, and will provide insights on how the office works with law enforcement, foreign governments and industry to prevent IP theft and shares the best strategies for protection.
