JPMA Announces Innovation Award Finalists and Industry Celebrity Judges

JPMA opens Parent’s Pick voting and announces Innovation Award Finalists and Judges
Mount Laurel, N.J. October 1, 2015 – The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is pleased to announce the finalists of the 2015 Innovation Awards Competition have been selected. More than 100 cutting edge products were entered and 45 finalists in nine categories were selected by several notable members of the juvenile industry.
From high-tech monitors and interactive toys to helpful apps and important safety gear, this year’s JPMA Innovation Awards finalists have raised the bar in an effort to offer parents innovative ways to safeguard and care for baby.
“JPMA has been hosting the Innovation Awards for more than 25 years and it is one of the most exciting programs we offer the industry,” commented Kelly Mariotti, JPMA Executive Director. “The manufacturers continue to introduce new and innovative products into the marketplace and we look forward to watching these companies prosper.”
JPMA graciously acknowledges the selection committee of trade media representatives, parent influencers, and retail buyers who volunteered their time and effort to serve on the judging panel:

The finalists are now entered into the JPMA Parent’s Pick Awards, where parents nationwide can get a sneak peek at the newest baby gear hitting the market and vote for their favorite “must-have” product. The voting is available via babysafetyzone.org and ends October 12th at midnight.
The final round of judging takes place on October 17th in Las Vegas during the ABC Kids Expo. JPMA will award a top winner in each of the nine categories, as well as a Best In Show and the Parent’s Pick during the industry party on Sunday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the SLS Hotel and Casino. Media are encouraged to attend.
The Innovation Awards Competition started in 1989 as the Most Innovative Product Contest and has evolved through the years to a highly recognized competition. It was officially named the “Show Off” Product Competition in 1992, however in 2003 JPMA renamed the contest to the Innovation Awards to more accurately represent the focus on innovation.
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. These companies manufacture and/or import infant products such as cribs, car seats, strollers, bedding, and a wide range of accessories and decorative items.
