Regular Membership Eligibility:
Applicants for Regular Membership must initial the following four statements on the application as they relate to your company. Initials on all four statements are certification of membership eligibility. If the JPMA Board of Directors is unable to verify the information, the company may not qualify for membership.
- The company’s products bear the company’s name and/or trademark and USA, Canadian or Mexican address on the products and/or packaging.
- The company is engaged in the manufacture, importation or exclusive distribution of juvenile products for general sale to retail distribution channels.
- The company has its own place of business in the United States, Canada or Mexico.
- The company is not primarily a retailer, wholesaler or sales rep for multiple juvenile product manufacturers.
Affiliate Membership Eligibility:
A JPMA Affiliate Membership is designed for any corporation, partnership, or individual with an office located in the United States, Canada or Mexico that manufactures juvenile products, that does not bear its own name and/or trademark, for general sale, and is not primarily engaged as a retailer.
Associate Membership Eligibility:
The following corporations, partnerships, or individuals shall be eligible to become Associate Members: suppliers of raw materials, consulting or other services to a regular member firm, publications pertinent to the juvenile industry, and licensors. Associate members shall not have the power to vote, but can be elected to serve on the board as a director. Associate Member dues structure is established by the board of directors and is based on a calendar year and shall not be pro-rated. Assessments may not be levied against any Associate Member.
