Happy Anniversary JPMA!

2012 marks the 50^th anniversary of JPMA, and this year, JPMA is honoring 50 years of safety, dedication, and passion!

JPMA was formed in 1962 with 29 industry companies and has grown to include more than 250 member companies in the United States,Canada and Mexico.

Our industry has come a long way since 1959 when a group of juvenile products manufacturers came together as the voice of the industry when the United States government imposed an automotive tax that applied to car seats.  

We have seen so much change over the years, and through that time JPMA has remained dedicated to the industry and the safe use of juvenile products.

JPMA is proud of what we have accomplished over the past five decades and how far we’ve come as a united industry passionate for what we do every day.

As we reflect on the past 50 years, we honor our members for their dedication and commitment to making parents and children’s lives easier with the products they offer. While we reminisce about the evolution of these products and the many great gatherings our industry has enjoyed, let’s also think about the strong collective partnership that we maintain through our industry association and dedicate ourselves to what the future has to offer for the next 50 years of JPMA!
